After a short absence of updating, I am finally back. Life has been hectic lately. School started Monday, and the weekend prior, I moved into my new house. I can’t believe I’m finally on my own after all of these years. It’s an exciting time. We are getting Dish Network installed on Saturday morning (well, hopefully morning) and our Verizon internet package should be here soon. Considering school has already bundled me down with loads of work, I need internet ASAP. I have a six page paper due on the 27th. Thank goodness it’s a personal essay and not a research paper. I hate doing research. The next six years of my life (or so) are going to be hell because of research. I believe I’ve decided on a minor though. Political science. It’s a little more versatile than history and will give me more career options.
I have one more class today then I get to go home and see my little man. I haven’t seen him since Wednesday morning because his dad kept him overnight last night. I never knew that I could miss someone so much. Life is good, just a little stressful with all of the change. I am trying to handle it as best I can. I think I’m doing a fairly good job right now. We will have to see how well I hang on once the semester is in full swing. Can’t wait until the fall when I’m taking 18 credits (six classes). This semester I’m only taking 12. The only real issue I have right now is money. I have $8.00 in my checking account and I won’t have anymore money until January 24th when my refund check comes. My cell phone bill and online class bill are both due before then. Eh, oh well. Such is life. Time to go read some Victorian poetry before class!
