Ears, Nose, Throat, ETC!
so…I’m looking for a host.
I am trying to start up my own website, but I need a host. I am going to buy a domain name. But I need some help from someone really nice out there. I want someone to host me, but I’m not that great at FTP and such. I would be willing to pay $25 to whoever would help me set up a website and create a layout for me. Pretty peas? haha….I’m decent at HTML, but haven’t had the time (or patience) to learn much FTP. I know enough to keep my website updated and such. It would be a huge help.
So, I believe I have an ear infection. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to find out for sure. But both of my inner ears have been KILLING me. Not to mention that I have a sore throat, coughing, and more sinus pressure than a geyser at Yellowstone. Anywho, I figured I’d write a bit today since I haven’t updated in a while.
M and I are doing a lot better. We haven’t fought in a while, so that’s a good sign (hopefully). Last night since I had taken some Mucinex D (it has sudafed in it) I was up half the night, so I stayed up until M got home at 11:30pm. We ate a little (well, he ate, I watched…I was too sick) and watched “Remember the Titans”. It was actually a good night. Lil P woke up at 3am like normal. This time I just let him cry it out. I need to stop him from waking up in the middle of the night, and this was my last resort, but I had to do it. He was doing so well from about 3 months to 5 months, then out of nowhere, this 3am monster shows up. Hopefully the habit will be broken soon. He only cried for about 15 minutes, then fell back asleep. That’s how I know it’s fake. I still hate to hear him cry though
What else…I have been studying a lot for the national test. Riz really helped me out at work. He showed me how to do IV Flow Rates as well as figure out how much of a drug is in an IV solution. Some of that stuff is so easy I don’t know how I didn’t figure it out. I’m just horrible at math word problems. I have about a month and a half left before I go to take it, so I hope I can get enough study time in. That’s what I’ll do as soon as I finish writing this!
Hm….well, I don’t really have much else to update on. My internet is crazy. That’s about it haha….until next time!
Come A Little Closer
So, things are now working out. We fought, hard…not physically. But now everything is much better. Everything is now out in the open. No more lies, no more hard times. I think from now on, everything will be ok…at least I hope so.
Lil P is still teething. I wish his top two would just come in already! He is having a hard time with the top ones. I feel so bad for him. Poor little guy.
Well, I’m off to finish my book “It’s Kind of A Funny Story” by Ned Vizzini. So far it’s pretty interesting.
I went shopping yesterday…spent about $300.00. But I got a lot of stuff…and it made me feel better so it was WELL worth it! I do have to take back a pair of shoes I purchased at Old Navy because they don’t fit. I swear, some stores only make clothes for girls who are size 00 and lower. NOT FAIR!
Back From Final Vacation
I can finally relax…now that I’m back from vacation. It was really fun, but very stressful at times. I enjoyed being with M’s family, especially when we were at Myrtle Beach. I really don’t feel like writing about the whole vacation so I will give a brief summary. We arrived at Myrtle Beach, SC on Labor Day (Sept. 1st). It was M, Lil P, Aunt J, M’s dad, Aunt T, and Uncle P. We were there until Friday the 5th. We left right before hurricane Hanna hit. After leaving the beach (Lil P loved it!), we headed over to Aiken, SC which is M’s hometown and where a lot of his family lives including his mom and dad. We stayed at his mom and dad’s house until Monday the 8th which is when we left to come home. We arrived back home (a 10 hour drive!) around 7pm that evening. Now it’s Tuesday and I’m STILL worn out.
It’s not even 10pm and I’m about to go to sleep. Right after posting a few pics of course!
Oh yes…I must add this little bit of info I obtained while in Aiken thanks to Tabby. Picaboo.com is an amazing site…it lets you create scrapbooks…without all the work! Take a look. It’s really awesome.
Ghetto Love
So this week has been interesting. I had to work Sunday, which means I will be working six days in a row before leaving for vacation on Saturday. That is the suck. Anyway…good news… Lil P has two bottom teeth coming in. I’m sure they will be fully in by the time we get back from vacation. The bad news…he isn’t liking the whole teething experience too well. And I discovered that the cherry flavored Tylenol makes him hyper whereas the grape Tylenol makes him sleepy. Someone tell me why this is?!? I haven’t had a decent night’s sleep in forever.
I made an entire list of what we will need to bring with us to the beach. It’s a page and a half long. And 3/4 of it is things for Peyton. Gosh, I didn’t know babies needed so much stuff! Haha….that was a little sarcastic, but not really.
P has finally rolled over both ways. I’m so excited. He is starting to sit up by himself but only for a few seconds at a time. Still, he isn’t quite five months old, and I’ve heard he is pretty advanced. So I’m happy about that.
That’s about all for this update…not writing again until I get back!
Urgent Care
So yesterday Peyton got sick. I had to take him to the doctor and he can’t have anything but Pedialyte until he stops throwing up. Poor baby….I feel so bad for him. Now my stupid computer is acting up….grrrrrrrr. The mouse is going whack-o. Oh well…its life. All the bad stuff hits at once…
Now I’m sick. I had to go to the Urgent Care center and got a $50.00 co-pay for some BS doctor to tell me that I need to see a specialist for my headaches. Booooo…and he told me there was nothing he could give me for my extreme and excessive tiredness, massive headaches, and body pain. Who knows what’s wrong with me. Probably nothing, but I feel awful. I am so tired all the time and I get these really bad headaches EVERYDAY.
Yea…I spent 2 hours in this tiny room….waiting…and waiting. It was horrible. Not even a magazine. Just an examining table, sink, and a chair. It was the worst experience of my life. If I had someone waiting with me, it wouldn’t have been so bad. Eh, it’s over and done with.
I believe I’m going to go read some Psychology. Get prepared for my long haul ahead for my bachleors degree. Woooo Hooo…Go me.
Tornados
HELP ME!!! I really want to have my own website, but I can’t find cheap hosting with really good plans ANYWHERE! Does anyone know of a good site to buy a domain name from and a site with good CHEAP hosting…CHEAP being the most important of the two. I can only afford about 5-8 dollars a month at most because I’m on a very tight budget, but I really want my own site. Also…if anyone designs layouts for really cheap and can code my site, please let me know! I have always wanted my own site, but never had the chance to own one. I suck big time with HTML, so I’m looking for someone who can design a layout for me and code my site. I’m willing to pay for this too!
I live in Northern Virginia and we actually got hit by 5 different tornados today. The power in half of the county is out, and will be for about 3 to 5 days. Thank God that our power didn’t go out because I have Peyton. No power + 3 month old baby = bad time. Honestly, I don’t really have much to write about. I will be feeding Peyton straight formula until at least the first week of July because cereal is just too much for him now.
I really need to get a pair of glasses with the right prescription in them. I have an old pair but its a completely different RX and all I have are contacts. I do have insurance now, so I suppose I should start getting regular eye and teeth check ups. Insurance is such a nice thing to have
Today at work I found out that since I am a CVS employee, I get a 25% discount off of my cell phone bill. I also found out that I get discounts at Gold’s Gym, Dell.com, Bestbuy.com, and a few other places. It’s really nice to know that. I’m glad CVS actually gives their employees a few extras (especially since they don’t pay us that well haha). I am going to visit Verizon next Tuesday to get my new phone…the ENV2 and to let them know that I am a CVS employee and I want my discount NOW!
Well, other than those things, life hasn’t been very interesting. Tomorrow I’m going to open a new checking account at Wachovia. That’s exciting…sort of haha. Then next Monday I am going to Six Flags with Mike and his old roommate Brad and his girlfriend. That’s exciting…I LOVE rollercoasters….especially the ones at Six Flags. The Six Flags near us is NEVER busy so that’s good. Hopefully it will be slow so we can ride everything a billion times.
On a random side note, Clinton dropped out of the race. I really hope Obama picks her up as a VP if he wins the election. I really want a democrat in office. We need change…this country has been in the pits way too long.
Well, I doubt I”ll update anytime soon, so everyone enjoy their weekend!
